I have already made cheesy chicken broccoli rice using one skillet, but this recipe in Instant Pot is much easier to make. 

The ingredients used in this recipe is identical to that of the one skillet casserole recipe. You just Saute the chicken for 2 to 3 minutes and throw all the ingredients inside the IP and allow it to cook.

This is one such dish you can give to your 4-year-old kid. All those ingredients provide a much-needed protein source to his belly.

If you are someone who doesn’t how to cook broccoli properly inside the instant pot then just blanch it on the stove and then throw it inside the IP with other ingredients.

How to Make Instant Pot Chicken Broccoli and Rice

First, turn on your Instant pot to the Saute mode. After it gets heated add butter, chicken, and garlic.

Cook the ingredients until the onion turn transparent. Next add rice, broth, and the seasonings and cook for 5 minutes on manual high pressure and quick release once the timer is up.

Once cooked quickly add the flour and milk mixture and mix well until combined with the mixture.

Finally, add cheese and broccoli and stir in until mixed well. Serve hot.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoon of butter
  • 1½ - 2 lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast cut into cubes
  • 2 Cloves Garlic
  • 1⅓ Cups Long Grain Rice
  • 1⅓ Cups Chicken Broth
  • ½ Cup Milk
  • tablespoon flour
  • 1-2 Cups Fresh Broccoli cooked
  • 1½ - 2 Cups Mild Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Small Onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

Instructions
